360 E waterside, the Tides

I just figured out the address of the Tides, since we have been using Tides all the time. I just helped one renter in this building to find a twice as large and great view to the lake unit with a little cheaper price. I have seen some units in this building and noticed that the price is a little higher than the buildings around it, it has great amenities and lounge room etc, but the space in the unit is not that spacious or you have to pay a lot more.

I was on the west end of the LSE park a few weekends ago for the “Chicago Spring Half” and some guy asked me where “360” is located. So I looked up at “340 on the Park” and remembered the Buckingham is 360 E Randolph. He told me he’s looking for 360 Waterside and I had to apologize that I didn’t know where it was. Actually we were only about 200 feet from The Tides :-).

Speaking of which, Chicago does not experience any tidal effects that I’m aware of… Why do we have a building called The Tides? How about Effluent Bloom? I guess it doesn’t have the same poetic resonance.
